- Spiritual Momentum = Maturity
- Spiritual Mass = knowledge of Biblical doctrine
- Spiritual Velocity = speed + direction of faith

- A person with a lot of ‘mass’ but low ‘velocity’ is someone who knows a lot but lacks wisdom as an “ivory tower snob with little fruit”.
- A person with low ‘mass’ but high ‘velocity’ is like a speeding, reckless driver who lacks wisdom and is “an accident waiting to happen – aka, a sophomore”.
There’s tremendous value in having ‘spiritual mass’ (aka lots of Bible doctrine in your soul) and having ‘spiritual velocity’ (aka running with haste to win the race); however, you must have BOTH to enjoy ‘spiritual momentum’ that ensures maturity, stability, and maximum peace in life. The hallmark of a mature person is wisdom.
