Know Your Worth – blog 3/28/25
If you were worth creating, then you’re worth something to the Lord.
We must know in our hearts that God created us with value and purpose in His eyes.
We have a personal calling from the Lord; He gave us life for good reason, to bring Him glory and advance His kingdom, even in the smallest of ways!
Whatever gifts God has given you, and whatever means He has given you, He wants you to prayerfully use it for His glory, out of gratitude for the very life He has granted you.
Your heart can't be looking at your own works; it has to look to CHRIST ALONE.
The OT sacrifices, by themselves, were NOT appeasing to the Lord!
Any“goodness” in God’s eyes comes from the obedience that comes from faith alone!
Obedience is the manifestation that contributes to our OWN ASSURANCE of our salvation. It’s not WHAT we do so much as it is WHY we do it.
The Bible is filled with two aspects: how a person is saved & how salvation is assured.
We can rest assured, and have peace of mind, when we realize we're passing the tests God gives us as markers of faith.
